Founder's Story
A personal mission that grew into a movement.
OfadaHub was born from a personal mission. When Ameenah's father was diagnosed with diabetes and advised to switch from white rice to local Ofada rice, she discovered both its remarkable health benefits and the challenges surrounding its quality and processing.
Much of the Ofada rice available in markets contained stones, impurities, and inconsistencies. This experience revealed a critical gap that needed to be filled for families who depended on safe, healthy food.
Motivated by the need to make Ofada rice safer, cleaner, and more accessible, Ameenah founded OfadaHub to transform how local rice is processed and delivered. What began as a family necessity has evolved into a thriving agribusiness committed to processing Ofada rice that meets global standards.
Today, OfadaHub stands as a champion of quality, integrity, and impact. The work goes beyond food processing. It is about empowering communities, strengthening the local food system, and expanding access to nutritious foods for households across Nigeria and the world.
